The United Nations Research Institute for Social Development (UNRISD) is an autonomous United Nations agency that carries out research on social dimensions of contemporary problems affecting development. Unnayan Onneshan and UNRISD have been doing collaborative research on social policies.

 The Overseas Development Institute (ODI) is the UK's leading independent think tank on international development and humanitarian issues. ODI and Unnayan Onneshan share a longstanding partnership by collaborating on different areas of research.

Université de Montréal and Unnayan Onneshan mutually benefit from a partnership revolving around offering research internships to students, allowing them to further their skills and knowledge.

The School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS), of the University of London, is the only Higher Education institution in Europe specialising in the study of Asia, Africa and the Near and Middle East. Unnayan Onneshan has been collaborating with faculty members of the Department of Economics on political economy of growth and governance.

Oxfam International plays a role as a network facilitator between the wide range of power holders and poor people in Bangladesh since 1970. Unnayan Onneshan has been conducting commissioned research on different issues of mutual interest. 

 Oxfam-novib Oxfam Novib is Dutch development organisation committed to a just world without poverty. It is one of the 17 affiliates of the Oxfam confederation, who together work with local partners in 94 countries. 
   
 fpp Forest Peoples Program supports the rights of peoples who live in forests and depend on them for the livelihoods. Unnayan Onneshan and FPP have been collaborating on community-based management of the Sundarbans, at a local level, and on biological diversity on the international level. 
   
Action Aid ActionAid Bangladesh assists efforts and builds capacities of actors of civil society and partner communities' whom we believe engaged in safeguarding and promoting people’s rights. Commissioned research has been realised by Unnayan Onneshan at the request of Action Aid.

GKS

Gono Kalyan Sangstha (GKS), i.e People's Welfare Organization, is a local NGO focusing on the areas of governance, livelihoods, disaster management and human resource development while mainstreaming Gender and HIV/Aids. GKS provides technical assistance in the Regenerative Agriculture and Sustainable Livelihoods in Vulnerable Ecosystems (RESOLVE) project, initiated by Unnayan Onneshan. 

 GUK Gana Unnayan Kendra (GUK) envisions a poverty free equitable society where justice, equality, human rights and dignity of all people are ensured. GUK provides technical assistance in the Regenerative Agriculture and Sustainable Livelihoods in Vulnerable Ecosystems (RESOLVE) project, initiated by Unnayan Onneshan. 
SDS

 

Shariatpur Development Society (SDS) is a non-political and non-profit making NGO based in Shariatpur district, founded to empower the disadvantaged people and to bring about overall change in the life of the rural poor, especially women. SDS provides technical assistance in the Regenerative Agriculture and Sustainable Livelihoods in Vulnerable Ecosystems (RESOLVE) project, initiated by Unnayan Onneshan. 

   
nijerakori Nijera Kori means ''We do it ourselves''. Development activities of Nijera Kori are directed towards the establishment of rights of the downtrodden people, and emerged from a grassroot perspective. Unnayan Onneshan and Nikera Kori collaborate on the area of perspective building and capacity development.
