Swadhin Ray

Swadhin Ray is working in this organisation as a Junior Research Assistant under the Social Policy Unit. He is currently involved with the project entitled RESOLVE (Regenerative Agriculture and Sustainable Livelihood for Vulnerable Ecosystems). His current research involvement is on Livelihood Diversification. Mr. Ray has completed his B.Sc. and M.Sc. in Geography and Environment from Jahangirnagar University.

Areas of Specialization

His areas of interest are on Human Geography which includes Development issues, Human Migration, Tourism development, Climate Change etc. He has strong command on various GIS (Geographical Information System) software like ArcView GIS 3.3, ArcGIS 9.2, ERDAS IMAGINE 8.4, Google Earth etc.
