The Economic Policy Unit undertakes research to identify innovative ways for expansion of sustainable productive capacity. The Unit examines macroeconomic and sectoral policies and development intervention strategies by exposing the underlying paradigms and exploring the state of the economy. The research areas include growth, fiscal and monetary policies, international economic relations and trade, labour and workers right, political settlement and
governance capabilities etc.
